We would suggest that for any job, large or small, a face-to-face meeting is arranged. This is by far the best way for us to understand your requirements, and to discuss our products and services. We can provide valuable assistance from the beginning, so that you may be sure you are making the right choices.
Design meeting
However complex the proposal, we will make our meeting with you as simple and as productive as possible. We will discuss design, products, colours, timelines, and any special offers, as well as taking all necessary measurements. If the project is straightforward, we will be able to cost on site. For more complex schemes, we will take away the measurements and information and create a detailed proposal document, which we will then submit to you for consideration.
Amendments/Contract
If you wish to make alterations to the design proposal, we can discuss these either by telephone, email or in a further face-to-face meeting. Once you are comfortable with the proposal, and are happy to go ahead, both parties will sign a contract detailing all products and project requirements. A deposit (fully backed by insurance) will be required at this time.
Technical survey
One of our technical surveyors will arrange an appointment during daylight hours to take accurate manufacturing measurements. We will then create an approval document, which clients must sign before manufacture. Any additional amendments and cost alterations can be made at this stage.
Manufacture
Our products are all manufactured to the highest standards, ready for installation. This normally takes three to four weeks. The project manager then arranges installation dates with the client.
Installation
The manufactured products are either delivered direct to site, or to our warehousing facilities. All goods are checked before installation, then carefully installed to the best possible standard. Should any problems arise, they are dealt with promptly, efficiently, and with courtesy.
Handover
On completion of the installation, both the client and AWM Windows will check the final result and sign off the project. At this stage outstanding balances will be paid direct to the installation team. If any problems remain, our project management team will arrange for a remedial appointment to put them right (for instance, scratched handles, cracked glass, etc.)
